Press accreditation procedure

This page concerns journalists ONLY.
If you are a film industry professional, please click here.

The 18th Dinard British Film Festival is to be held from 4 to 7 October 2007.

The press badge is a great working-tool granting free access to all Festival screenings. The only way for our Festival to keep offering such a generous accreditation system is to set up rules and limitations. So kindly follow the procedure below :

1. Who is entitled to a professional accreditation ?

Professional press-card holders only.

2. Procedure

  1. Please fill in and send the pre-registration form below before September 10th 2007. Applications will not be taken into account after this deadline !
  2. Should your badge request be accepted by our accreditation commission, a hard copy of our accreditation form will be sent out to your postal address. In order to provide journalists with the best working conditions, the following criteria will be taken into account by our commission to grant our limited amount of press badges :
    • importance of the media (newspaper/magazine : circulation figures ; TV : number of viewers ; TV/radio : broadcasting range)
    • film specialization of the media
    • the coverage the media is willing to provide of our Festival
  3. Your registration will only be confirmed when we get the form back by post (before September 20, 2007). Please send the filled in form, along with a passport photo (NO digital pic via e-mail) and a photocopy of your press card BEFORE THE SEPTEMBER 20TH DEADLINE.

Please note : You will not have priority access to the accreditation desk if your application is incomplete

3. Use of your press badge

Your badge is strictly personal. You are not allowed to lend/swap your badge, or it will be made void.
